To provide a suitable outdoor entertainment area and pool with permanent outdoor catering facilities.
Challenges
To exploit and unify the existing pool location with terraced patios and lawns alongside the house so that the collection works as one. To provide a bespoke and superior quality sheltered outdoor space for year-round enjoyment by the property owners, their family and visiting guests.
Solution
A contemporary interpretation of an open-sided 'barn' allows flexibility and views through. Specialist canopies provide adjustable shade to poolside areas, whilst automatic blinds enclose and protect the space during colder months. A beautifully integrated kitchen is well appointed, whilst the entire space is wired for sound, power and even heat. A built-in firepit complete with hood and chimney offers additional evening warmth and a social heart to the space.
